Paper by BARII? DIMTER NETINGER from ISCR 11th 2010 Seville Spain
One of the main problems faced by today's engineers is the lack of quality natural materials and accumulation of waste materials. Among the materials which are increasingly burdening landfills are industrial by-products. Slag is one of the common used industrial by-products and it can be used in all layers of road structure. Main characteristics of this waste material and its usage possibilities in concrete pavement will be presented. Croatian experience with concrete pavement and slag usage will be also presented thru regulation for stone aggregate in concrete pavement and investigation results comparison.
