The considerable increase of road traffic all over the world increases the demand for traffic surfaces with a longer lifespan and less repairs. When doing maintenance and repair works it is very important to keep short construction times in order to reduce obstruction to traffic to meet this challenge. A construction-system was developed in the last few years which allows replacement of whole concrete slabs within a few hours. The construction period for the renewal of concrete slabs can be reduced to 5 to 6 hours. That way it is possible to do repair works in periods with low traffic volume. The materials developed have the same lifespan as conventional concrete. The disadvantages of concrete roads compared with asphalt regarding repair matters have been removed due to the developement of this system
