Improvement of Pavement Concrete Properties Using Mineral Additives

Paper by POPOVI? from ISCR 11th 2010 Seville Spain

In this paper is given overview of mineral additives that are used to improve mechanical and durability properties of concrete used in concrete pavements. Use of mineral additives is possible in two different ways, as a cement additive during production and as a concrete additive during preparation. Mineral additives analyzed in this paper are: silica fume, fly ash, slag and limestone. For getting a better picture of concrete pavements, in this paper is also given classification of concrete pavements and concrete properties.
