The morning sessions saw Peter Carson (Carson Group) deliver a Holbrook Case Study on Concrete Overlay Performance , followed by Mohammed Ibrahim Mostazid (UNSW) walking us through Developing Accelerated Tests Criteria for Assessing Geopolymer Concrete Durability.
After morning tea, Frank Grech (Kaysand) presented ‘Engineering the best sustainable concrete sand". Next, James Walker (TfNSW) delivered the highlights and learnings from ISCP 2024, which led into our networking lunch.
After lunch, Shane Dunstan (ARAN) & Willem De Bod (Rolco) , provided an overview of ‘Roller Compacted Concrete - US Experience'. Succeeding Shane, Principal Pavement Engineer Stephen Hulka (WSP) explored the technical challenges and solutions face on M6 Stage 1, followed by Stuart Neilsen (Enviromesh) provided an overview of ‘Enviromesh’, including project case studies of the product in use.
Tim Buckingham-Jones (ASCP) will then provide a general update and address any recent or upcoming ASCP news.
