The Australian Society for Concrete Pavements (ASCP) proudly acknowledges individuals who have made outstanding contributions to the concrete paving industry in Australia. Through their dedication, innovation, and leadership, these individuals have played a vital role in advancing concrete pavement technology, improving industry standards, and fostering excellence in the field. 

These awards serve to recognise and celebrate their achievements, highlighting their commitment to engineering excellence, sustainability, and the continued development of high-quality infrastructure across Australia in the following catergories;

  • Ed Haber Award โ€“ Best Conference Paper (Individual)

  • Arvo Tinni Award โ€“ Best Urban Pavement Infrastructure Design or Construction Project (Individual or Team)

  • John Hodgkinson Award โ€“ Best Rural Pavement Design or Construction Project (Individual or Team)

  • David Dash Award — Innovation (Individual or Team)

  • Geoff Ayton Award — Young Leader in Concrete Pavements (Individual)

  • Kevin Abrams Award — Service to Industry (Individual)

  • Life Members Award — For outstanding contributions to the concrete paving industry in Australia (Individual)

Recognition is acknowledged during the biennial [every two years] during the Gala Dinner.

Nominations for each category award can only be made by a financial ASCP member. Nominations close on 30 September in the conference year.
