About Dr. Ashtiani
Dr. Ashtiani is a Senior Civil Engineer at Applied Research Associates, Inc (ARA), and a licensed Professional Engineer with a doctorate degree in Civil Engineering. With 15 years of experience in pavement design, evaluation, and management, he brings a wealth of expertise to his field. Dr. Ashtiani specializes in structural modeling of concrete pavements and finite element analysis.
He has supported the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) pavement research and development program, contributing to various research initiatives in airport pavement engineering. As the task lead and project manager, he has played a pivotal role in the enhancement and maintenance of the FAARFIELD program.
