Following on from our March 2023 F2F Forum, we will kick off this Online Forum with a continuation of the ‘Concrete 101’ series. John Hodgkinson (Hon. Member, AM) will present on all things Thickness Design, followed by David Slingsby (Hon. Member) providing an insight into the development of Non-erodible Subbases for Australian rigid pavements.
Basil Ben (TfNSW) will present on the much anticipated M12 Motorway project, with a Pavement Design Overview. Rounding out the forum we will have Jeremy Pownall (Converge) and Dr Aziz Mahmood (UTS) offering perspectives on maturity testing.
Jeremy will explore the history and future of concrete performance testing, before Aziz provides a case study into the application of maturity testing in relation to a BCSA cement concrete.
James Walker, (TfNSW) and Forum Convener will facilitate the Q&A session before wrapping up the Online Forum.
