Kicking off the first forum of 2023 we will see the first two instalments from our ‘Concrete 101’ series, which seeks to shed some light on the fundamentals of key rigid pavements topics. Todd Myers (TSM Civil) will present on Tiebars, with John Hodgkinson (AM) seeking to answer the perennial question – To dowel, or not to dowel.
Jamie Egan, President and Craig Heidrich, Executive Director will conduct the 16th Annual General Meeting for the Australian Society for Concrete Pavements.
Simon Ouk (Huesker) will talk to the latest developments in reinforcing grids for applications over concrete pavements followed by Peter Bryant (QTMR) providing an update from the Queensland Department of Main Roads.
Sam Henwood and James Allen (TfNSW) will continue with updates from Transport for NSW and an exploration of some recent learnings in the field of rigid pavement drainage.
Jamie Egan will provide an update from ASCP including an update on planning for the 2023 ASCP Conference.
