Eric Ferrebee: 2023 ASCP Conference International Speaker


The Australian Society for Concrete Pavements (ASCP) is excited to welcome Eric Ferrebee from the American Concrete Pavement Association (ACPA) as a keynote speaker to the 2023 ASCP conference. Eric is an accomplished expert and leader in the concrete paving industry, and we look forward to his participation in this year’s event.

Eric Ferrebee is the Senior Director of Technical Services with the ACPA, and joined the ACPA staff in the summer of 2014.

He is responsible for providing technical resources and consulting services to ACPA members, as well as the agencies and owners they serve.  Eric is a key team member in the development of industry resources including the pavement thickness design tool PavementDesigner.org and the WikiPave concrete pavement encyclopedia. He is also the lead engineer on ACPA’s sustainability and resilience efforts. Similarly, Eric supports the association’s mission through development of technical literature; overseeing research projects; and enhancing concrete paving technology transfer and information sharing.

Eric has earned both his bachelors and masters degrees in civil engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is a registered professional engineer in Illinois.

As a keynote speaker at the ASCP conference, Eric will share his insights and knowledge on various topics related to concrete paving. Participants can look forward to engaging and informative presentations covering “ACPA’s concrete pavement’s role in a sustainable resilient future” and “U.S. Agency approaches to pavement sustainability” everything from the fundamentals of concrete mix design and construction to the latest innovations shaping the industry.
