A New Approach in Concrete Highway Construction

After a long period of experience in concrete road coad construction a new type of pavement is under supervision. Reasons to develop a new type are some disadvantarous experiences with concrete slabs resting on supporting layer of hydraulically bounded material and the need to reuse old pavement materials. The new construction comprises a thick concrete slab on frost rcsistant unbound layer.
